The newest addition to our saffron range, the Novin Saffron 50g Mega Value Tin is a sturdy resealable metal tin that will keep your saffron safe and dry.  This mega value pack will last a long time and suits the frequent saffron user or commercial kitchen.  The traditionally painted tin makes a nice keepsake, which can be used afterward to store other precious ingredients and spices.

The Novin Saffron 50g Tin is our best value offer, and is the highest quality saffron imported direct from the saffron fields of Iran.  Our buying power means we can offer this superior quality saffron to you our customer at a price which won't be beaten !

The grade on this saffron is "All Red" grade 1 under ISO 3632 (the International Standard for Saffron Grading) and it contains 100% saffron stigmas, and is Lab tested for purity.  Colouring and flavour are superb.  It is a more concentrated saffron than its European cousins because it is sun dried until brittle rather than oven dried or dehumidifed.

Our Novin saffron is imported direct from the saffron markets of Iran, and the 50g value tin is from the 2021 harvest making it the freshest saffron available.

As with all of our products, shipping is free to Australian addresses.

Saffron Preparation and Storage

Powdered saffron generates more flavour than saffron threads, therefore if you powder your saffron, we recommend that you use a little less than you would using the threads.

At Saffrondust, we don’t powder our saffron, so that it arrives as fresh as possible. In order to maintain this freshness, powdering should be done immediately before you use the Saffron, preferably with a pestle and mortar or herb grinder. For more information on preparing Saffron, visit the preparation guide in our FAQs.
