How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order
Credit card information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorised with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
Our Payment Gateway provider is E-Way Australia, which uses industry standard encryption technology to secure the transaction. All credit card transactions are processed through our merchant account with St George Bank.
After a transaction, your credit card information is not stored on our servers. Saffrondust never handles your credit card details, these are passed directly between your browser and E-Way Australia using SSL encryption.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
Specifically, we disclose your information to Australia Post and other trusted third party couriers for the purpose of delivering your order, updating you with progress of the shipment, and resolving any delivery problems. This information includes your name, address, contact phone number, and email address.
We comply with all legal directives and obligations and may release your information to certain government agencies when requested and where required to by law.
In the event of a fraudulent transaction, information relating to the fraudulent transaction will be disclosed to our bank upon lawful request.
Transaction data (not including credit card details) is retained on secure third party servers hosted by Bigcommerce (www.bigcommerce.com). Data (not including credit card details) is also imported to a secure cloud based accounting system hosted by Quickbooks Online and is retained on the Quickbooks Online servers. Transaction data (not including credit card details) is also securely retained on OneSaas (www.onesaas.com) cloud based integration software for the purpose of synchronising Bigcommerce and Quickbooks Online transaction records. Email addresses and first name of subscribers who opt in to our email list are retained on Mailchimp.com secure cloud application. Data may be shared with other trusted third parties included but not limited to E-Way Australia and Facebook.com, in order to process transactions and provide marketing insights.
In the event of transmission of business, the historic transaction data (not including credit card details) will be sold with the business as part of the business assets.
Marketing and retargeting
Various methods are used to track behaviour through the website and build profiles of website users, customers, and subscribers for advertising and marketing. Such methods include but are not limited to active pixels, tracking beacons, cookies, tracking codes, and analysis of customer and subscriber lists. Data may be integrated securely with other applications to further understand user demographics and user preferences for the purposes of audience building and retargeting.
Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
