Urban Bounty : Uniquely Tasmanian Paella Catering in Hobart

Hobart is known as the gateway to the finest food and wines that the Isle of Tasmania has to offer.  With the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) attracting visitors from around the world, it has a vibrant art and cultural scene culminating each year with the Festival of Modern Art (FOMA).

Urban Bounty, a Hobart based specialist caterer captures the spirit of the city, creating a unique offering of quality local ingredients.  From free-range pork and Damper lamb sausage rolls to wild-caught rabbit and Tasmanian apple cider pies, owner and Chef Nick Cummins is constantly searching for new taste experiences to add to his menu.

Recently Nick has turned his attention to Paella, adding his own signature to the Spanish staple.

Not one for tradition, he has designed and built his own mobile paella kitchen.   

Using recycled 44 gallon drums custom fitted with authentic Garcima paella gas burners and cooking off multiple Garcima pans, the unique kitchen is now a staple feature at many of Hobart's finest outdoor food markets and festivals.

After dark at the Hobart Twilight Market, every Sunday at the Farmgate market, and at the renowned Dark MoFo festival you will get the opportunity to meet Nick and experience the taste and aroma of Urban Bounty paella, sourced from highest quality Tasmanian ingredients.

Nick's good mate Ross O'Meara (AKA The Gourmet Farmer) supplies the chorizo made from Bruny Island rare breed free range pork.  The poultry is free range chicken sourced from Marion Bay, and the squid is Tassie and super fresh.  Vegetables stay true to what is seasonal and locally produced.

Available for private functions, weddings, and corporate event catering, Urban Bounty will make your next event not only memorable but uniquely Tasmanian.
